Proud Mother-to-Be

Lloyd and I had our first dr. visit today. As some of you may know, Lloyd and I are expecting our first baby. Our due date is Dec. 29, 2008. If you don't want to do the math, I'm 7 weeks 3 days along.

I am feeling very tired and I'm suffering some morning sickness. I've been getting plenty of rest and I trying to find stuff to eat that will not upset my stomach. I have been very lucky with the morning sickness - I haven't actually thrown up. I have the constant feeling of throwing up, but I never do. I have to say that being pregnant is the most wildest thing my body has ever gone through. I have never been though so many changes so fast in my life.

Lloyd has been awesome. The sight of red meat makes me sick. Lloyd has been cooking dinners, getting food I've been craving, and letting me get plenty of rest. I blood drawn from both of my arms today at my dr visit today. My arms are really sore. Lloyd helps me around the house - including cleaning the litter box. He has been really great.

We are really excited about all of this. We can't wait to have our little Giblet running around the house.

I heard this song at Newspring yesterday.  This is what every mother is - A Hero.  I pray that when my baby comes, I'll be someone's hero.
