Amazing Weekend

Wow, this past weekend was so fun. I hate to see it go. Here's what happened:
  • Friday night was date night. Lloyd and I went to Mimi's Cafe (awesome food as usual).
  • Lloyd got to go to the Clemson game on Saturday. I was jealous that I could not go - but I got some much needed rest at home. Plus, I got to play with my puppies and sit in a nice cool house.
  • I went to my parents house Saturday night. My dad gave Lloyd an old lawn mower. Lloyd is so excited. The mower was at my grandfather's house. So I got to see some family that I havn't seen in a while.
  • My parents took me and Lloyd out to dinner Saturday night. My mom got sick (the only bad thing that happened this weekend). I don't think we'll go back there again.
  • After sleeping in on Sunday morning, Lloyd and I watched some of The Unit (season 1) on DVD. I love that show. Later, we went to Sam's with Lloyd's parents.
  • While at Sam's Lloyd found this huge barrell of cheese balls!! I have been craving them since I got pregnant. However, you cannot find cheese balls anywhere. Now 7 months into my pregnancy - I finally have my cheese balls. Better late than never.
  • I started my 7th month of my pregnancy today (Monday)!! Caleb is kicking like crazy which really makes me laugh and sometimes keeps me up at night. I have never seen Lloyd more excited than when he felt Caleb moving around. I can't wait for him to get here.

Well, that's it. October is going to be a crazy month. Dr appointments every 2 weeks, parenting classes, hospital tours, birthdays, one of my best friends is having a baby (so excited), baby showers. It's going to be a crazy October.

A Gallon of Milk & Side of Meat

Yes, the cravings are on. Lately, I cannot get enough milk. Seriously, I drink 1 gallon a week. Lloyd is lucky if he gets a glass or two. I used to never drink milk. Plus, I cannot say no to Meat. Hamburger: Yes! Steak: Yes! Ribs: Yes! Chicken: NO!! Yea, the crazy thing is that I'm not a big chicken eater anymore. Lloyd and I used to eat chicken 2-3 times a week. Now, we hardly eat it at all. I love dairy foods (milk, icecream, cheese). And peanut butter - I love peanut butter (creamy - not chunky). Ahhh, food is great.

After I attempt to fill my never-ending bottomless pit, I love to streach out on my recliner with a light blanket. Halo Kitty currled up on my lap. Jack & Sawyer laying next to the recliner. Lloyd lounging on the couch beside me. Ceiling fan on and Golden Girls on the tv. And a glass of Kool-Aid within reach. Now that would be nice.
