Well...

Well, Thanksgiving went by very fast. I can't believe that December will be here in a few days. I doesn't even feel like it should be Christmas. But here it is. The radio has been playing Christmas carols back to back. Traffic is crazier than normal - which I hate with a passon. I am really excited about Christmas this year. I am getting Lloyd exactly what he wants. And yea, he already knows what it is. I'm sure that he will post it on his blog after Christmas. Hopefully, he will fix his blog so that we can all see it.

I saw this on People this week. I must be psychic cause I totally saw this coming.

Well, I guess that's all I think of right now. Oh, my sister posted this on her blog and I thought it was really cool. You might want to check this out. You might learn something new about yourself - I did.

Ohh, I'm going to get fat....

Thanksgiving is tomorrow. And ohhhhhh I can't wait. I have 2 dinners planned for Thanksgiving. One at 2:00 and one at 5:00. I just hope I don't overdo it. I know I will eat lots of food - so I'll be wearing clothing that is a little more flexable.

I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving. Eat lots of food and enjoy Black Friday!!!

Back To The Basics

No, I not talking about the Christina Aguilera cd. I am talking about something totally different. I'm talking about icecream. Better yet, Mayfield icecream. I love Mayfield icecream. My favoriates are Yellowbrick Road, Birthday Cake Icecream, Turtle Tracks, Mint Chocolate Chip, and SnowCream (okay, so I haven't tryed that one yet - but it sounds so yummy). Quick question: do you remember when you first fell in love with Mayfield Icecream? I do - all I can say is MOOSE TRACKS. That was the first Mayfield Icecream that I remember falling in love with. I loved it so much. However, with the new flavors arriving I kind of put Moose Tracks lower on my "Got To Have This Flavor Of Icecream - NOW!!!" list. Well, last Friday I was craving Birthday Cake Icecream. Lloyd and I drove to the store just downt the road from our house to get some icecream. When we got there - I saw a tub of Moose Tracks in the freezer. The tub was calling my name. The tub looked so lonely - he was the only one left on the shelf. I had to get the Moose Tracks. I thought, why not. I haven't had Moose Tracks in forever. Once I got home and ate my first of many bowls of Moose Tracks, I remembered how awesome it was. Let's just say that my love for Moose Tracks has been revived. I still love all the Mayfield flavors - but I was reminded why I love that icecream so much. Moose Tracks!! I think I'll get another tub tonight.

Thanksgiving Is Next Week!!!

Is it just me, or does it seem that Thanksgiving came up really fast this year? Plus, football season is almost over! Where did the time go? I remember when I was in school - it seemed like our Thanksgiving and Christmas break would never get here. Now, I blink and Thanksgiving is here! What really freaked me out is that they are playing Christmas music on the radios now. Is it me, or is time flying by too fast? Maybe that is a part of growing up - time just flys by. Man, I hate growing up...

Without Lloyd

I had to go to HomeGroup alone this past Tuesday. Lloyd had to work at some type of training thing at church. I suprised myself by getting to the leaders house by myself - never drove there alone before. Lloyd called me on his way home and told me he got me a surpised. He bought the dvd Cars. We saw the movie in the theaters - but, we really wanted to get the movie when it came out on dvd. I also love the song "Life Is A Highway" by Rascal Flatts. Lloyd is so awesome. He knew I was lonely. Therefore, he got me something to cheer me up. I love the movie. But most of all, I love my Lloyd.

A Very Upset Halo

Well, I learned one thing about my princess yesterday. Halo Kitty does not open her house to any other cat. Yesterday, a sweet little male kitten came into the shop. He's about 3 months old and is in great condition. We thought he would be an awesome shop cat - you know, keep the mice away and be a source of entertainment around here. Well, we are afraid that he is so small and young, he might get run over by one of the many trucks driving around. So I took the cat home last night and took it to get its shots at the vet this morning. The dogs loved having another male in the house. But Halo on the other hand was not happy. She hissed and spit at the cat (and me) several times during the night. I know this sounds funny, but if my princess is not happy - I'm not happy. I can't bring another cat into Halo's house. Halo didn't mind the dogs so much - but she puts her paw down when it comes to another cat. Needless to say, the kitten will not be returning to my house tonight. Hopefully, Halo will be happier when I get home tonight.
