3 Day Weekend Recap

As I said before, I love 3 day weekends. Lloyd was camping Friday - he returned Saturday. So, I spent some of the weekend with Sawyer and Halo Kitty. Jack went camping with Lloyd and the guys. They had fun in the woods - but why should Lloyd and Jack have all the fun? Sawyer and I had an awesome Friday. We slept in. We played ball after breakfast. Then we went to the bank and to Petsmart. Sawyer picked out a huge tennis ball. He carried it around Petsmart. Then we went by my old job to see if working - and they were. We had lunch with some old friends and went home. We watched CSI the rest of the afternoon and night.

Lloyd got home Saturday afternoon. So, Saturday morning I cleaned house and got things ready for Lloyd's return. When Lloyd got home we went out to do a little birthday shopping - Lloyd's birthday was Thursday. Then we went to Outback with Lloyd's family.

We went to church on Sunday. Then we had a wonderful Easter lunch at Lloyd's parent's house. It was nice - my parents came along. It's really nice to have all of our family around together. We are really fortunate that all our parents get along so well together.

All in all, it was a great weekend. I love 3 day weekends.

Catching Up On My Blogging

I know I haven't blogged in a while - sorry, I've been busy. Here's what's been going on:

• Yesterday was Lloyd's birthday - HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY LOVE!!!
  
• Lloyd went to Wisconsin for a business trip a couple of weeks ago. This really sucks, I hate being without him.
• I got hired on at work - I'm no longer a temp.
• Both Lloyd and I are staying busy at work - this is really great considering we both love our jobs so much.
• We are finally getting adjusted to losing an hour of sleep from the time change a few weeks ago.
• I love the warm weather we have been having - I hate being cold.
• Halo Kitty, Jack, & Sawyer are all doing great.

I'll blog again soon about the wonderful weekend I'm having later. I love 3 day weekends!!

Well, that's about it. Gotta go - laundry to do!
