JUST ANOTHER POST

Hey All! Just wanted to let you know that is well at "Casa de Single-wide". Other than the fact that I had some car trouble last week, things are going great. My parents returned from their vacation this past weekend. They had so much fun. I am so happy - and so jealous. I wish that I could get away for 2 weeks. But not to worry, my vacation is coming up. I can't wait to get out of my daily routine and have some fun with my hubby. I just hope that we don't have anymore car trouble between now and then.

Update

Hey ya'll! Hope everyone is having a wonderful day. I just wanted to update you on what's going on in my little world.
  • Work is going okay. Some days go by so slow. I still wish that I didn't have to work at all. I want to be a housewife so bad. But the bills have to be paid - therefore, I continue to work.
  • Dogs and cat are doing great. Carson broke his runner the other day and had to go to my in-laws house for a few days. They have a kennel down there and Carson loves not being tied down. Good news, my in-laws said we can keep the kennel. One small problem, the kennel is attached to a huge piece of concrete. But we'll get it moved to our house sometime soon. Carson and Jack will love it. They will be together and won't be tied to anything - no more nasty knots!
  • Married life is great. Lloyd has been a little stressed out - but I tend to put him in a better mood. Lloyd cooked an awesome dinner the other night - chicken fried rice - which was a good thing, I didn't want to cook at all.
  • My parents are having a blast on their vacation. They needed a vacation - I'm happy they are having so much fun.
  • Now, on to the sad news... my sister-in-law is getting ready to move back to USC. I'll miss her so much. She's my bud. I wish she was going to Clemson or somewhere close. But I understand why she has to good to USC - that's where they offer her major. Hey, maybe she should change majors!
Okay - there you have it. That is how everything is going on in my world. So, back to work I go. Just a few more hours to go - oh crap, 6 hours to go! Oh what I would give to be home in bed watching Golden Girls eating a bowl of icecream.

Gotta Get Out Of Here!!!

Lloyd and I have been through some extreme highs and lows the past 2 weeks. We celebrated our 2 yr. anniversity, went to a Braves game, and had some awesome experiences at church. But we also lost our land lady, an amazing family member, and lots of sleep. I can't wait to get out of here. Lloyd and I are going on vacation soon. We are going somewhere by ourselves - away from work, away from everything. Ahhh, how nice. I am preparing myself - I got a new vera bradley tote bag which will come in handy on packing (thanks Lloyd, that was my anniversity gift from my hubby) and I've been going to the tanning bed. I don't want to burn myself while on vacation (I just know we will be out in the sun a lot). Anywho, the days can't go by any slower. But there is one thing I am not looking forward to on our vacation - we have to leave the babies here at home. Jack will stay with Lloyd's parents, Carson will stay with my parents, and Halo Kitty will stay at home. My mom-in-law will go and check on her at the house. I'm sure that all the animals will be okay - but I will miss them so much. Maybe I can sneak Halo Kitty in the hotel room - no, she meows to much - she'll blow my cover.

Well, we don't leave for our vacation until September. So, I guess I'll go tan and work-out a little and go home to watch my show The Golden Girls. You know, try to get a little rest. Wait, I have laundry to do when I get home. Oh well, so much for wishful thinking.
