3-Day Weekend Recap

My arms and back are sore. My skin is burnt. I have a huge headache. And I am so tired that I can barely keep my eyes open. What does all of this mean? I'm recovering from the most wonderful Memorial Day weekends of my life. Here is a run down of the 3-day weekend. All the fun started when I got home from work on Friday.

Friday - after work, I went to dinner with Lloyd's parents at Cracker Barrel and then saw Pirates 3.
Saturday - I went to my friends house for a skyline chili party.
Sunday - truely a day of rest. Seriouslly, I didn't do a thing productive. Lloyd and I did go out for lunch - that was fun.
Monday - went to the lake with my friends from HomeGroup. Here, I got to lay out in the sun and ride a JetSki. I didn't put on sunscreen and I'm now burnt.

All in all, it was an awesome weekend. I am so tired. Guess I need to get some rest.

Season Finale

So, this is the time of year where we enjoy season finales. There were 3 shows that I had to watch. Here is what I thought of the 3 season finales.

• 24 - I was disappointed it this one. I was actually disappointed with the whole series this year. Come on, Jack can only do so much.
• American Idol - I was also disappointed it this one to. I was pulling for Blake to win. After this performance, I knew he won it. But, I was wrong. (so sad)
  
• Lost - I love this one. I hate the show, but the season finale was so awesome. Lost is a great show. It keeps you wanting more - even if you hate the show. I can't wait for the next season.

Now I am looking forward to new shows. I think I'll watch Hell's Kitchen and So You Think You Can Dance.

Rocking Out

Okay, so this group may not be the "hard-core" rock group some of you think of - but they're still an awesome group. I have been rocking out to a new CD in my car today. Maroon 5 recently released a new CD called "It Won't Be Soon Before Long". And I am loving it. This CD has to be one of the best CDs I've got. I highly recommend you add this to your collection.

Something New...

Sadly, my Vera Bradley pattern has been retired. I know I could still get more in my pattern off EBay. But I feel the need to change things up. Here is my new pattern. It's brand new, so I'll be able to keep it for a while. I got my first piece on saturday. I love it!!!!
Lloyd got something new too! He got a new helicopter. It's a Blade CP Pro. He loves this thing. And he's really good at flying it. He loves it!!!!
It was a fun day on saturday. Lloyd and I both got something new.

A Proud Parent

I am so proud of our new puppy Sawyer. He has been a really good boy lately. He didn't have an "accident" in the house yesterday. He is also learning commands like sit and come. And he is calming down a bit. I am so proud. I just hope he keeps up with the good work.

Best Friends Forever.

Sawyer Blue

We got a new puppy on Saturday. We got a 4 month old white lab. His name is Sawyer Blue Gibson. We got him from the Hart Co. Humane Society (They were at our local Petsmart). Lloyd fell in love with him and we decided to take him home. He's doing great. He's only had 1 accident in the house. Jack loves him, Carson is not so sure. They (Carson and Sawyer) actually got into a fight this morning. Halo Kitty has given him his scratch across the nose. Every dog in our house has had a scratch across their nose when they first arrive. Sawyer got his this morning. He's a cute puppy. He looks like a polar bear with his white fur. So now we have 3 dogs and a cat. Pictures soon will follow.

You've Gotta See This

Okay. Yesterday was a really bad day for me and Lloyd. However, our spirits were lifted when we saw this on America Idol. I can't wait for his CD to come out. Check out the clip.

Help Please!!!!

Okay, I can't go into details - not enough time or space. But will all who read this post (family, friends, random bloggers, whoever) please be praying for me and Lloyd. We are going thru something pretty huge right now. No, nothing is life threating. Let me just say that I have never seen Lloyd so stressed and I am a huge ball of nerves. I'm sick (literally, sick) of this whole situation. Please pray that God will give us comfort, peace, direction and understanding.
