Another Great Weekend

Lloyd and I had an awesome weekend. We took a road trip to Tanger Outlet Mall in Commerce. It was really fun. We got lots of stuff we really needed. Lloyd got more camping gear and some blue jeans while I got a new pair of running shoes and a few cheap shirts. It was great to spend time with my hubby.
Church was awesome as well. Even though the weather wasn't as nice. I also got lots of housework done while Lloyd was at church. And as normal, Lloyd and I enjoyed our famous "Sunday Nap".
All in all, an awesome weekend.

We're Becoming Outdoorsy

We are! Lloyd and I are actually planning a campping trip. Not sure yet when we will go. We got our backpacks, sleeping bags, and a brand new tent. I have to say, I'm really getting excited. It's going to be lots of fun. I still need to get a few things before we go out on our little adventure (mainly, hicking boots). I also need to find someone to take care of Carson while we are gone. Jack will be going campping with us - now that should be funny. We are really excited. Hopefully this will be something that we can do often (when it's not too cold or hot). It will be a great way to spend some time together.

Hot Man

OK I know I say this all the time, but I have the hottest man. Lloyd just got glasses - oh my. He is soooooo hot. Ummm, he looks so good. You know, some people look awful in glasses (you know, nerdy). But Lloyd really pulls the look off well. Really well. I can't get enough of this man.

I Can't Believe This

Confession time: I'm a freak about what the celebrities are doing these days. I read people.com and e! online everyday. I have to get my fix on all the gossip. I'm also a fan of Diva Dish. You can read this on the B93.7 website. I just love to read this stuff - I'm a freak about it!

Anywho, I said all of that to say this. I cannot believe that Britney Spears shaved her head! I really do think this girl has lost her mind. Why would girls want to shave your head? I really cannot get over this. Blows my mind!

A Happy Girl

Lloyd is the best man alive. He got me the perfect Valentine's gift. The got me this, completing my collection of Golden Girls. Yea, I have season 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and now 7. I am so happy. I also got candy and a sweet love note from Lloyd. I got Lloyd this book, beef jerky, and candy. I also wrote him a love note. Lloyd also fixed me a fabulous dinner for me. It was so awesome. It was a perfect night.

We Survived

Jack is tired and laying around a lot. Carson has actually came out to play around with Jack and be sociable again. Halo Kitty has stop losing her fur. There is peace and a since of calm in our house now. I haven't had to clean the carpets in over 3 days. All of this must mean one thing: Gracie is gone.
In my last post I mentioned that we were dog sitting for a week. And what a week it has been. Gracie is a really cute and sweet black lab. She's not really smart and loved to pee in the house. But she is really sweet. During the week, Jack has been playing and watching out for her. The 2 of them went everywhere and did everything together. Carson, on the other hand, hid from the 2 labs. We didn't see much from Carson during this past week. He hid in the corner, behind chairs, and under the bed. Halo Kitty was really stressed out. She didn't eat much and her fur was coming out in clumps. Gracie thought Halo was fun and interesting. But the feeling was not mutual. Gracie kept bothering Halo and one day (I think it was Thursday) and Halo jumped on Gracie's head. Gracie thought it was fun - Halo Kitty was not happy at all. I'm sure Gracie will be an awesome dog once she grows up. But she has a lot of growing up to do.
It was a very crazy week at our house. I didn't think dog sitting would but this much pressure on my pets. It was a crazy time for all 3 of my babies. But we all survived and live to tell the tale.
