What Happen?

Does anyone know what happened on Thursday? Where did the Tigers go? I am so disappointed - Clemson is now ranked 19th. I knew we would lose points when we lost, but I had no idea we would lose that much. I guess the Tigers have a lot of work to do.

Oh yea, thanks to my mom, I got my heart broken. Mom said that I should read Marley And Me. It was a great book - a great book with a sad ending. She warned me that it would make me cry. I was weeping!!! I swear, you would have thought the dog belonged to me. Don't believe me? Ask Lloyd. He was trying to comfort me - and I could tell he was trying really hard not to laugh.

Bitter Sweet

This past weekend was bitter sweet for me and Lloyd. Here's how:

The Sweet Part: Lloyd and I got to go to the Clemson Homecoming Game. We arrived in Clemson around 9:15 am (Kick-off wasn't until 7:45 pm). Why did we get there so early? Hello, Game Day Baby! After we left Game Day we started tailgating. We had an awesome spot. And of course, Lloyd didn't let us down. And along with some faithful friends, Lloyd provided food for a small army. Lloyd is the ultimate Grill Master. The game was fun too. Come on, who wouldn't enjoy watch Clemson bet Georgia Tech 31-7?

The Bitter Part: Since kick-off wasn't until 7:45 pm, we didn't get back to our tailgate until sometime after 11:00 pm. We cleaned up everything and sat in traffic for over an hour and a half. While sitting in traffic, my body got stiff and my throat begin to hurt. By the time we got home (around 2:00 am) my whole body is in pain. I was mentally and physically exhausted. I was so drained, I didn't make it to church on Sunday. I slept all day. I spent all day Monday recovering too.

You see how it's a bitter sweet weekend? We had lots of fun - but we paid dearly. Would we do it all again? You bet.

What About Those Tigers!!!!!

What about those Tigers this past weekend! I was so happy to see the Tigers step up in the 4th quarter and win the game 27 - 17. Plus, Clemson is now ranked 12th! I can't wait till Thursday's game against Temple. That should be a great game.

Official Couch Potatoes

Yep, Lloyd and I are official couch potatoes. We love watching tv. What we really enjoy is picking a tv series and watching the whole season when it comes out on video. Yea, we're nuts. We have watched every CSI, Alias, 24, Lost, and Family Guy episode out on video. I've been keeping up with with my girls Blanche, Rose, Sophia and Dorothy (aka The Golden Girls). But Lloyd doesn't seem to see the humor in the show like I do. Anywho, Lloyd and I love to watch these show together (Golden Girls excluded). It is a great way to spend time together.

Getting Lost

Last night, Lloyd and I went to a "Lost" party. Lloyd and I can't stand the show, but we keep watching it anyway. I guess that is what makes a great show. People who are not fans can't stop watching it. Its like a car wreck - you hate that it happens, but you can't help but watch. I don't know why we hate it so much. Well, it could be this little show called 24. Yea, Lloyd and I are loyal 24 fans. Our schedules revolve around that show. Oh, I can't wait until that shows starts up again. I got to know what happens to Jack! Oh the suspense is killing me!!!!

Happy Birthday

Today is my sister and brother's birthday. Yea, they're twins. Happy Birthday Guys! I love you lots!!!

Wow, 2 Great Weekends In A Row!!!

As you probably read, last weekend was a great weekend. Well, God has blessed us with yet another awesome weekend. On Friday, I went to my parent's house to eat dinner. While there, we found some old videos of me when I was a baby. I have to say, I was a cute baby. We all know what Saturday was - Game Day for the Clemson Tigers!!! And what a game it was! Clemson blew out Louisiana Tech 51-0. Lloyd and his dad got to go to the game. They had so much fun. So, where was I? Well, I went shopping with Lloyd's mom. We went here, than to here, than to here. Eventually, we went here. But you know me - I had to go here. I had a blast. That was the first time we have ever done anything just the 2 of us. Well, as great as it was to see some old videos and Clemson win over Louisiana Tech. But the best was still to come. Sunday came rolling in, and no one saw this coming - 413 people were baptized!!!!! Guys, that's got to be a record. Check out Pastor P's blog to get more details. The link is on the right. This weekend was awesome.
